Hi. Weāre NOU.
Nou means new. A new Lagree & Pilates studio coming to London. The space is still being built, but we couldnāt wait to bring people together.
So weāre starting with events, pop-ups, and gatherings for a community that moves, connects and shows up for itself.
Come find us before the doors open.
Our workouts

Lagree was created by Sebastien Lagree, originally as an evolution of Pilates. Itās done on a machine called the Megaformer (or Microformer for the smaller version), which looks a bit like a reformer but is built for a more intense workout. Lagree focuses on slow, controlled movements held under constant tension, which keeps muscles working continuously. The idea is to fatigue muscles through time under tension rather than fast reps, combining strength, endurance, and core work in one session. Itās typically more high-intensity and cardio-like than classic Pilates, while staying low-impact on the joints.

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. It focuses on core strength, controlled movement, flexibility, and the mind-body connection. There are two main formats: mat work (floor-based, using bodyweight) and reformer work (using a spring-loaded machine with a sliding carriage); and other apparatus eg Cadillac, chair, ladder barrel, tower, etc.
The pace tends to be controlled and precise, with emphasis on breathing, alignment, and quality of movement. Itās often used for rehab, posture, and building deep stabilising muscles.
About Us
Iām Fifi,
a globally trained fitness instructor and wellness creative, certified in personal training, Pilates and Lagree. Over a decade of teaching has shaped how I train, blending the precision of Pilates, the intensity of Lagree and functional strength.
Movement has always been part of who I am. From taekwondo to track and field, sport shaped me early, and I bring that same discipline into every session: refined, personal, and built around your body and your goals.
I speak five languages, and I teach the way I move through the world, by bringing people together. Whatever your background or your body, thereās a place for you here.
NOU means ānewā in Catalan. Itās where that training lives, and where Iād love for you to begin.
